#1. GOOD EYE CREAM

Skincare always comes FIRST before makeup! Remember that! You would never apply foundation without applying moisturizer and the same applies to your under eyes. So make sure you hydrate with a really good under eye cream.

I love This eye enhancer and use it daily. It has a triple blend of peptides which promotes healthier skin from within. It also has a comprehensive botanical complex of rose, aloe, kiwi, lily, ginseng, geranium, primrose and lavender all to help soothe the skin and keep the area from getting dry.

#2. GOOD FORMULATED CONCEALER

There are a ton of concealers out there. One thing I discuss with a bunch of you like myself Ive experienced the caking, drying or even creasing under my eyes and my eye bags do not help with that. Ive learnt that it is extremely important to choose & use products that compliment your skin type. If you use a concealer that is too thin, to thick, to dry or too moisturizing it will crease. Keep in mind too for those of us that have more mature skin, a more hydrating formula is required. I have also found that when you lightly stretch the under eye area a tiny bit it creates a more fat and even surface. Therefore creating a more successful makeup application.

I recently added This concealer to my My Holy Grail: Makeup Edition. Its super coverage, multiple use and works wonders in concealing and contouring.

#3. GOOD SETTING POWDER

In order to keep the makeup from moving around under your eye area, Setting it with a translucent powder is a must! You need to Set everything really good like your life depends on it. Again the product used for setting the concealer will be based on your skin type. Some skin needs a tiny bit and others need to let the powder sit & bake. I personally have found that Actual baking and letting it sit for a while has contributed to that area being extremely dry for me. I look like an evil wicked Witch 😂😂 for real. This is because my skin is already so dry in that area.

I highly recommend This or This setting powder. I have been using the first one for over 5 years and the second I recently found and really love!

#4. GOOD SETTING SPRAY

The same rules that apply for your entire face when setting it also apply to your under eyes when setting. You need a good finishing spray to help hydrate the skin to keep it from flaking or looking cakey. It also holds all your makeup firmly in place. So make sure you spray those under eyes too!!

I am OBSESSED with This flawless finish setting spray. Its sooo so good.

#5. MINI FAN

Lastly I have found that when you’re putting on your makeup and you are waiting for everything to dry and set after you have sprayed your setting spray. Your concealer can crease in the process, especially if you have fine lines or bags. Use a mini fan to quickly dry that area while making the face you make when you put mascara on. This helps the skin stretch out while drying therefore leaving a flawless finish!

Ive been using This super cute one from Amazon for awhile now. Its also how I dry my lash extensions after washing them.

Tiara’s up! Xo
