4 ideas to contribute to your self-care

1. Bubble bath

Bubble baths can be so relaxing. Don’t underestimate the power of one. Add a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil or my personal fave Dr. Teals pure epson salt soaking solution. Grab a good book, a glass of wine and some candles and enjoy!

2. Eat Healthy

When you eat healthy you feel great, which overall contributes to your physical well being. I know cooking and preparing healthy meals can be time consuming and just stressful. I have found that using Home Chef provides quality meals made simple. They are delivered straight to your door and always come fresh! You can read about my very first experience with Home Chef Here and one of my absolute fave recipes from them is Here.

3. Skin Care

Again I truly believe and have always said when you look good you feel good. It goes hand in hand. A good skin care routine can do wonders on your mental health. Your skin looking and feeling its greatest will shine thru and boost your confidence like no-ones business. Lol. My current skincare routine has done exactly that and I have received more compliments about my skin now then I ever did wearing a full face of makeup! You can check out my full skin care routine Here, my holy grail skincare edition Here and my 6 steps to a fresh face morning routine Here.

4. Meditate and stay positive

Taking time out of your schedule be it early in the morning or late at night contribute to your mental and overall health. It relieves stress levels and gives you that time to focus on what YOU personally need as an individual, Not you the mom, or you the wife, or you the teacher. Just YOU. Sometimes it can be hard. I know I personally still struggle sometimes. I wrote a post that talks about 4 things you can do to have a positive mindset Here and 5 tips that will help you stay positive when everything you see and hear is negative Here.

Whether you do all four, a few or some of your own. Self care is vital to practice in our every day life. It contributes to our mental health, and makes you focus on your most valuable player... YOU. I hope you all have a great weekend, stay safe and thanks for stopping by! Until next time...
