Super bowl Sunday: 4 oh so tasty yet quick & easy finger foods to make
Happy Friday friends!!! This weekend marks Super bowl 55 Sunday and all though I'm not the biggest football fan, I have to say that due to this worldwide pandemic and staying home more then usual. This Super Bowl Sunday event is literally the highlight of my week LOL!!!Whether you are into football and will be watching personally or like me married to a man (need I say more) who LOOOOVES football 😂 Regardless one has to eat right?! So I put together 3 of my personal favorite dishes to make for such occasions as this. CLASSIC BUFFALO WINGSI N G R E D I E N T S:
•Kosher salt
•Freshly ground black pepper
•Ranch dressing, for serving
•Carrot sticks, for serving
•Celery sticks, for serving
D I R E C T I O N S:
- Preheat oven to 400° and place a wire rack over a baking sheet. In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
- Bake until chicken is golden and skin is crispy, 50 to 60 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together hot sauce and honey. Bring to simmer then stir in butter. Cook until butter is melted and slightly reduced, about 2 minutes. Heat broiler on low. Transfer baked wings to a bowl and toss with buffalo sauce until completely coated. Return wings to rack and broil—watching carefully!—until sauce caramelizes, 3 minutes. Serve with ranch dressing and vegetables.

FRENCH DIP SLIDERSI N G R E D I E N T S:
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add onion and thyme sprigs and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, about 15 minutes. Discard thyme.
- Place bottom halves of slider buns on a large baking sheet and top with roast beef, provolone cheese, caramelized onions, and slider bun tops.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter and brush on top of buns. Sprinkle with garlic powder, coarse salt, and parsley and bake until cheese is melty and sliders are warmed through, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make au jus: Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to same skillet and melt over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute, then add beef broth, Worcestershire, and thyme and season with salt and pepper. Simmer until slightly reduced, 10 minutes.
- Serve sliders with au jus for dipping.

CHEESY BACON SPINACH DIPI N G R E D I E N T S:
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, 8 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate, then chop.
- In a large bowl, stir together cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, and paprika and season with salt and pepper. Fold in chopped spinach, bacon, Parmesan, and 3/4 cup of mozzarella.
- Transfer dip to a baking dish and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella. Bake until golden and bubbly, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve with crostini.
